The challenges for members of the special needs community are numerous particularly in Hudson County where a dedicated office to serve individuals with disabilities has yet to be created.

Through our Funding and Advocacy to the Special Needs Community, the United Way of Hudson County is filling the gap by helping individuals with development, emotional and physical disabilities live a better life.

How You Can Help:

• Give to United Way-funded initiatives that provide funding support for health care services, daycare programs and innovative work and job training programs.
• Advocate by learning more about programs that help our community’s most vulnerable citizens.
• Volunteer with one of United Way of Hudson County’s partner agencies that serve children and adults with special needs.
